Pioneers and Soldiers Memorial Cemetery

The oldest existing cemetery in Minneapolis with the first burial in 1853 and listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The cemetery is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, from April 15 th to October 15 th. You may schedule an appointment to visit the cemetery during other times by contacting the City of Minneapolis’ Division of Public Works at (612) 729-8484. Midtown Greenway

The Midtown Greenway is a 5.5-mile long former railroad corridor in south Minneapolis with bicycling and walking trails. The nearest entrances to the Midtown Greenway from Corcoran neighborhood are at 21st Ave South meeting East 28th Street, or at 18th Ave South near East 29th Street.

East Lake Library
