Corcoran Neighborhood Organization's Land Use & Housing Committee is organizing a tour of Aeon & Hope Community Inc. new housing development called The Rose Apartments on Monday, November 9th.

Corcoran residents are invited to meet at 5:45pm at CNO's office, 3451 Cedar Ave S, to car pool together to The Rose Apartments, 1928 Portland Ave S. The one hour tour starting at 6:00pm will be guided by Blake Hopkins, Project Manager with Aeon.

The building's 90 units of mixed income rental housing is first in the country to seek certification from Living Building Challenge for multi-unit housing.

CNO's Land Use & Housing Committee engages residents in the planning, development, and improvement of Corcoran neighborhood's built environment. This tour will inform the committee's ongoing policy work to define Corcoran's desired housing mix in the Lake Street/Midtown light rail station area, where almost 700 new units are slated for development.
