At the time of this printing, the meeting details were not finalized, so please contact Amy at CNO if you'd like to learn more. In addition, there's still time to the take the brief CNO survey on the project. Click Here to take the survey. The December 13 public hearing on the project was reported in last week's Advocate, found here. |

Farmers’ Market Welcomes a New Manager The Midtown Farmers' Market and CNO are pleased to welcome Rekha Banerjee, our new Market Manager. Raised in the Twin Cities, Rekha recently returned to the Midwest after more than a decade in Northern California. There, she managed several small-scale organic farms that served urban communities. These non-profit organic farming projects involved youth and adults from all walks of life in environmental education and community development. Most recently, Rekha comes to us from the Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Service (MOSES), where she served as Projects Manager. Many thanks to Joanna Stone, who leaves the Manager position after 4 outstanding years of service to pursue new horizons. |
Save the Date, and Nominate a Volunteer Please mark your calendar and submit your nomination: Corcoran’s annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner will happen the evening of Monday, February 4, 2008. Do you know an outstanding volunteer in the Corcoran neighborhood? CNO seeks nominations from the community through January 18. Please submit the nominee’s name and a brief statement about their accomplishments, along with your name, to Dayna at CNO. |
