Housing Committee Will Program Phase II Dollars Corcoran’s Housing Committee will decide how to spend dollars earmarked for housing from CNO’s NRP Phase II budget when it meets on Monday, December 11 at 6 pm at CNO. All Corcoran residents and property owners are welcome. Last summer, anticipating these decisions, CNO studied housing programs created by all 81 Minneapolis neighborhoods since the beginning of the NRP. Researcher Emily Warren interviewed neighborhood organizations to examine ‘best practices’ in housing programs. The results and recommendations are published in this report. |
Grow Your Neighborhood! Donations Will be Matched Two CNO board members recently secured a generous $5,000 gift. In part, donor Kim Lund wished to challenge additional support from Corcoran residents, and her gift will only occur if CNO can raise an additional $5,000 from individuals. As 2006 draws to a close, please reflect on what CNO means to your household, your block, and your community. Then imagine what your contribution will mean to our entire neighborhood. One-time and monthly bank draft donations—all tax-deductible—may be made online or at CNO, 3451 Cedar Ave S. |
