Join City Council Candidates for a Public Forum

Ward 9 raceOn November 3rd, residents of Minneapolis' Ninth Ward will select their next City Council Member.

You've seen the lawn signs for Dave Bicking, Todd Eberhardy, and incumbent Gary Schiff, but how well do you know the candidates?

On Thursday, October 29 at 7:00 p.m., join the candidates at the Sibley Park recreation center, 1900 40th St. E, for a public forum moderated by MinnPost's local media reporter, David Brauer. Hear the candidates respond to questions, and ask your own.

The event will include an informational presentation by FairVote Minnesota on Ranked Choice Voting, the voting method recently adopted by the City of Minneapolis.

The Forum is cosponsored by the League of Women Voters, the Standish-Ericsson Neighborhood Association, the Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association, the East Phillips Improvement Coalition, the Longfellow Community Council, and the Corcoran Neighborhood Organization.
