One of the grants that funded the recent community murals in Corcoran aimed to raise awareness about reducing waste. Trash is also a theme in annual neighborhood events such as the 3-Neighborhood Garage Sale and Clean Sweep. Please help CNO improve its programming and compete for future funding opportunities by 
October 4 Neighborhood Book Sale needs volunteers, books
The CNO office is now accepting quality books for the annual Corcoran Book Sale to be held on October 4th. Want to meet some book-minded neighbors? Volunteers are needed to help sort and organize books and plan other details of the Sale. Check out the next planning meeting, Wed., Aug. 27th at 6:00 pm at CNO.
Painters take note: CNO has colorful paint to give away
The Youth Mural project is winding down and CNO now has remnants of paint, all exterior grade in dozens of colors, to give away. Paint your own mini mural on a piece of plywood, or organize a youth art project on your block. Contact Eric at CNO and come in to see our vast library of colors. Everything must go!
