Events Committee To Meet, Continue Movie Night Planning This Thursday, June 7 at 5:45 pm, CNO's Event Committee will meet to continue planning for 'Movies in the Park.' The family-friendly movies will be screened on an outdoor big screen in Corcoran Park on the second Wednesday of each month. View 'Movies' flyer here. Newspaper Team Will Work on July Issue, Help Needed An enthusiastic group recently began work on the July issue of the Corcoran News, and will meet again on Monday, June 11, 6:30 pm at CNO. The 22-year-old newspaper recently returned to its volunteer roots. A variety of roles are available, including writing articles, assembling the community calendar, copy editing, photography and graphics editing, crafting titles, and final layout. Everyone is invited, and no experience is required. The team meets on the second Monday of each month. |

Support CNO When You Support The Chatterbox The Chatterbox Pub has unveiled plans to contribute a percent of its sales to the Corcoran Neighborhood Organization when patrons use one of four special coupons. Download and print coupons here. Owner Steve Miller says, "We believe active organizations, schools and recreational group activities are vital in developing strong, healthy and supportive communities." Steve encourages residents to print additional copies for future visits and share the coupons with friends. The coupons are valid at both the Corcoran location and the new store in St. Paul. Note the expiration date, and watch for updated coupons in future issues of this newsletter. |
