Kids and adults are invited to paint their own Mini Mural at free workshop

Mini MuralsArtists of all ages and skill levels are invited to paint their own Mini Mural at a free workshop at Corcoran Park (3334 20th Ave S), Tuesday, May 13 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Weather permitting, we will be painting outdoors. No art skills or supplies are needed, but do wear your painting clothes.

Mini murals adorn a number of area garages, notably near Powderhorn Park. When installed on a garage, Mini Murals: 1.) celebrate kids' work, 2.) are proven to deter graffiti, and 3.) tell passersby that neighbors care ("yes, even about the alley"). Interested Corcoran residents can get free help with installation on their garage after the event. Take yours home or enter in the contest--six will be chosen to replace the existing Mini Murals on the CNO building! Learn more here.

Adult helpers are needed for the event. Contact Eric at CNO to learn more.
