LU&T/Housing Will Consider Variances and More Corcoran's Land Use & Transportation and Housing Committees will meet this Monday (4/16) at 6 pm at CNO. Attendees will consider variance requests by two homeowners, hear an update on the on renewable power plant conversion project at 21st Ave & 29th St, and revisit committee efforts to plan bicycling events and update the neighborhood's plan for development. Open House Will Explore Public Art, Bike Connections The City will convene an open house at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, April 17 to discuss ideas for Public Art and Bike Path Connections for the Hi-Lake District. The discussion will also include an update on the improvements slated for under the Hi-Lake bridges. Share Food and Crime Prevention Ideas at Potluck Join neighbors to share food and ideas about making our neighborhood more livable. The Network of Caring Corcoran Neighbors Potluck will happen Wednesday, April 18, 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Corcoran Park (3332 20th Ave S). Ten people attended the last potluck on March 21 and discussed issues ranging from graffiti and prostitution to blooming boulevards and restorative justice.
