after 80 degrees, snow Mark your calendar and RSVP today! The Chatterbox Pub (2229 E 35th St) will host a Pizza Party fundraiser from Noon to 3 pm on Sunday, April 22nd. The pizza buffet will cost $9.95 per person, and half of all proceeds will benefit CNO. The buffet will feature a variety of gourmet pizzas and desserts. Please bring your family, friends, and neighbors, and RSVP to Matt at CNO by e-mail, or at 612-724-7457. Please provide Matt with the number in your party. This and many other fun neighborhood events are planned by an energetic group known as the Events Committee. The group's next monthly meeting is tomorrow (4/12), 5:30pm at CNO. Everyone's welcome.

Neighborhood Newsies Unite (Tonight!)

Can you see yourself teaming up with neighbors each month to design and edit your neighborhood newspaper? If so, please come tonight (4/11) at 7 pm to explore ideas for a volunteer publishing team. The meeting will be at CNO. Read related story.

LU&T/Housing Will Consider Variances and More

Corcoran's Land Use & Transportation and Housing Committees will meet this Monday (4/16) at 6 pm at CNO. Attendees will consider variance requests by two homeowners, hear an update on the on renewable power plant conversion project at 21st Ave & 29th St, and revisit committee efforts to plan bicycling events and update the neighborhood's plan for development. Everyone's welcome.

Open House Will Explore Public Art, Bike Connections

The City will convene an open house at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, April 17 to discuss ideas for Public Art and Bike Path Connections for the Hi-Lake District. The discussion will also include an update on the improvements slated for under the Hi-Lake bridges. Share Food and Crime Prevention Ideas at Potluck

Join neighbors to share food and ideas about making our neighborhood more livable. The Network of Caring Corcoran Neighbors Potluck will happen Wednesday, April 18, 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Corcoran Park (3332 20th Ave S). Ten people attended the last potluck on March 21 and discussed issues ranging from graffiti and prostitution to blooming boulevards and restorative justice. Foods ranged from chile con carne to lentil soup. Contact Eric at CNO with questions.
