Each year, the parade's theme is developed in a two-part community meeting and then portrayed through spectacular puppets and floats created by hundreds of volunteers. Staff artists have developed storyboards around ideas discussed at the first community meeting, and these will be presented for feedback at the second meeting on Tuesday, March 27, 7:00 pm, 1500 E. Lake St. To learn more about getting involved in the May Day Parade or about HOBT's current production, 'Invigorate the Common Well,' click here. |
