Rediscover East Lake Library at Grand Opening This Saturday

The eager staff of East Lake Library invite you to a Grand Re-Opening Celebration this Saturday from 1-6 pm. East Lake has been closed while undergoing a $4 Million face lift funded by a 2000 voter referendum, despite continued debates about MPL's operating budget, and the lay-offs and 'shutterings' of Roosevelt and other branch libraries. CNO still offers free paint and removal chemicals to all Corcoran property owners affected by graffiti. And while the City has discontinued free cleanup, CNO still offers free paint-over services through Sentence-to-Serve. Permission from the property owner is required.
